One of the Prime Reasons America is Destined to Fail:

The American populace is largely stupid and voting is a pointless exercise when the uninformed are allowed to participate

I’ll preface this by saying that, now that unaccountable voting machines determine the outcome of elections and most significant elections involve voting machines, even the exercise of voting is irrelevant at this point.

But the simple fact is, voters are stupid. We all know it. We’ve seen enough TikTok videos or memes online to know just how dumb the population around us happens to be - and these are the people we allow to vote for our government officials. These are the same people who probably couldn’t tell you what suffrage means or what the three branches of government are, or even who is the president of the Senate. Our “democracy” is entrusted to the likes of this uninformed ilk, which is exactly why democracy is a horrific system of government.

However, even the moderately informed are also a problem, because they tend to vote strictly based on the party affiliation of the candidate, completely ignoring their voting records or public statements. I saw this even at the local levels where great majorities of “Republican” state legislators are actually Democrats who knew they couldn’t be elected that way. And they were right; they consistently win re-election, often unchallenged, because even the moderately informed voters are too lazy to do their basic homework.

Let’s consider the fact that the smartest people in the 2020 presidential election (other than the people in control of the two empty suit choices we were offered) were the third of the population who realized that voting is a worthless exercise and stayed home. This includes a substantial number of White Males who saw through Trump and the fact that he not only failed to keep what promises he had the power to keep, but was actively working against their interests and the future of our nation.

This doesn’t absolve the other half of the voters who, because they thought Trump was mean, supported instead a doddering senile old man to serve as the face of an administration filled with those who seek to loot America before they burn it to the ground, quite literally in many cases. Now our nation faces rapid social and economic decline, our military is a joke, and yet there are still those that think any of this could be fixed by voting for Trump or DeSantis in 2024, or voting for the Republicans to retake the House and Senate. No, the federal government of America is a lost cause.

The true purpose of our federal government is to protect and defend the corporate and foreign interests who own it. Think about any given political issue, where some 80% of voters support a position (even across the political spectrum - like immigration, abortion, or voter ID) and yet, what sort of policy do we get from DC? A policy that favors corporate and foreign interests over the American people.

How about the opioid epidemic that is rapidly destroying White Middle America? If Congress were presented a bill that would punish the pharmaceutical manufacturers and help those devastated by their loose products, do you honestly think Congress would vote in favor?

If presented a choice between spending $500 million to help those victims or $1 billion to give to a foreign nation to buy our weapons, which bill do you think your representative would support? We already know the answer: 420 of the 435 members of the House voted last September to give Israel $1 billion to fund their defense.

Imagine if we had a Congress that unified in defending our own people.
